Sub-processors
Last updated: June 9, 2026
A sub-processor is a third party that processes personal data on our behalf to help us deliver the Service. Asa (Corporate Wellness Technologies Pte. Ltd.) engages the sub-processors listed below. Each is bound by a written agreement requiring data-protection obligations no less protective than those in our Data Processing Addendum, and we remain responsible for their performance.
This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
Infrastructure and processing sub-processors
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Data processed | Processing location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud Platform / Firebase (Google LLC) | Application hosting, database (Firestore), authentication, file storage, and error reporting. | All Service data, including account details and workplace content (projects, tasks, timesheets, leave, mood check-ins, and Project Intelligence conversation data). | United States and other Google Cloud regions. |
| OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) | AI processing for Project Intelligence and the Asa assistant — turning conversations, documents, and commands into summaries, signals, suggestions, and responses. | Message and document content, prompts, and related metadata submitted for analysis. Submitted via the OpenAI API, which is not used to train OpenAI's models. | United States. |
Connected platforms (data sources, not sub-processors)
Conversations and files reach Asa only from the platforms a customer chooses to connect. These platforms are independent data sources governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not sub-processors acting on our behalf:
International data transfers
Our sub-processors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another protected jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension and Swiss-U.S. counterpart) where the sub-processor is certified, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. See our Data Processing Addendum for details.
Changes to this list
We may add or replace sub-processors as the Service evolves. When we do, we will update this page and, where you have asked to be notified, email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, so you have an opportunity to object. To subscribe to sub-processor change notifications, or to raise an objection, contact us at support@asa.team.
